When I say the Pledge of Allegiance I take it seriously. It is not a pledge to our government but to our country. When we see our government doing something wrong, we have an obligation to stand up and take action.

• I’m running for State Representative to solve problems – not to play partisan politics.
  

• I’m running to give the average Texan a voice at the Capitol. I believe that the government belongs to every citizen and that all Texans have a right to be heard.
  

• I’m running to bring a breath of fresh air to a stale and tired political system. I believe that the primary responsibility of any elected official is to act in a way that most benefits the people he or she represents, not the self-interest of a few.
  

• And I’m running because I believe that holding elected office is a privilege granted by the people, not a power to be abused.
