When I say the Pledge of Allegiance I take it seriously. It is not a pledge to our government but to our country. When we see our government doing something wrong, we have an obligation to stand up and take action.
I’m running for State Representative to solve problems – not to play partisan politics.
I’m running to give the average Texan a voice at the Capitol. I believe that the government belongs to every citizen and that all Texans have a right to be heard.
I’m running to bring a breath of fresh air to a stale and tired political system. I believe that the primary responsibility of any elected official is to act in a way that most benefits the people he or she represents, not the self-interest of a few.
And I’m running because I believe that holding elected office is a privilege granted by the people, not a power to be abused.
