Dear Fellow Republican,

As you may know, longtime State Representative John Carey is not seeking re-election in 2012 and, after much thought, I have decided to run for our District's seat that he has held in the Ohio House of Representatives. The primary election is March 6, and my campaign for State Representative has just begun.

Living in Lawrence County nearly all of my life, I have had the opportunity to get to know many of you. At this time, I’d like to reacquaint myself with those I know and to introduce myself to those I haven’t met yet. Over the next few months, I look forward to meeting with you and learning from you.

I  am asking for your help. Hopefully, you will cast your vote for me on March 6. There are also many ways you can assist my campaign in the meantime.

I would like to better acquaint you with me, my family, and my professional background while highlighting some of my experiences and community involvement. However, simply listing it is not enough, and that spending time together is the best way to get to know someone. I look forward to having such an opportunity with you over the next few months.
